Staying at a B&B is a unique alternative to staying at a hotel.

It’s a more personalised experience. We were met at the door by our hostess, Angela O’Grady and personally shown to our room.

Location – O’Grady’s Townhouse is located in Waterville, Ireland on the Ring of Kerry.

Waterville is a favourite destination of many celebrities. It was a favourite of Charlie Chaplain and the likes of Tiger Woods, Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones have been known to play a round or two of golf at the world famous Waterville Golf Course.

Features – The B&B was purpose built in 1990 and is tastefully decorated.

Our room featured an ensuite, TV and heater along with tea and coffee making facilities and a nice, warm bed.

Breakfast – We had the choice of eggs or pancakes along with the usual continental breakfast choices.

Breakfast was served in the light and airy breakfast room.

Local Attractions – Waterville Golf Club, excellent fishing, Kerry Walking Trail, horse riding, water sports, Skellig Michael – UNESCO Heritage Listed Site, close to bars and restaurants

We really enjoyed staying at O’Grady’s Townhouse and Angela’s hospitality. The personalised experience was a nice change to staying in a hotel.
