Driving In Australia

A road trip around Australia is the perfect way to experience everything Australia has to offer. With the wind in your hair and Australia’s coastline by your side, an Aussie driving holiday is one to remember. There is so much to see and do and you can stop and start wherever and whenever you like.

Australians drive on the left hand side of the road and over take on the right. There are a few toll roads and bridges around the cities, but most of Australia’s highways are toll free.

You’ll probably want to experience the outback, but don’t underestimate it! It can be very unforgiving for unwary travellers.

The Australian Outback is a definite must for any Australian holiday, but consider a guided tour where you’ll be in the hands of an experienced tour guide.
